Though many have tried to sanitize this portion of Scripture through revisionist history to score political points with modern, “progressive” culture, we will take part in no such nonsense today. God’s Word stands forever, and it says what it says. Be strong in the Lord, and don’t ever be ashamed of His perfect Word which is “sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” The world needs truth, not flattery.
